Psychiatric Services

An integrative approach to medication management with appropriate frequent follow up allows the Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide optimal effective care for those patients who require medication management.

Total You’s integrated approach to patient care allows the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to internally refer individuals for behavioral and psychotherapeutic treatment to psychologists, exercise and stretching to our Exercise Practitioners thereby enhancing coordinated care.  Patients treated by licensed psychologists and therapists can easily access psychiatric intervention. Research has demonstrated that patient care is optimized by an integrated approach in which a combination of medication and psychotherapeutic treatment is utilized. This enables individuals to return to normal functioning in a rapid manner.
